Are you Unbreakable?

Do you wake up in the morning with a painfully, stiff lower back?

Does your shoulder bother you to the point where you had to stop working out or training like you used to?

Do your knees hurt each day after doing any kind of activity or exercise?

Do your feet and lower legs ache at the end of a long day?

Are you someone who seems to be injured all of the time these days?

Do you feel older than you really are?

Have you had to stop doing the things you love to do because of pain or a dysfunctional body?

Are you getting weaker each day?

Does your performance in the gym or in your sport/activity suffer because of physical problems?

Are your energy levels dwindling daily because of lack of activity?

Do you seem to be taking more and more Advil or other over-the-counter meds to deal with your pain?

Are your frustrated because you cannot play with your kids, work in the yard or pursue other activities because of pain, and physical limitations?

Do injuries and pain get in the way of your fitness goals ever?

Do you fit into any of those categories mentioned above?

If you do, you are not UNBREAKABLE. Most people aren’t

Would you like to be?

What does being UNBREAKABLE mean to you?

Leave me a comment and tell me what being UNBREAKABLE means to you.

If you want to become UNBREAKABLE, you will be able to soon!

I answered “no” to all of these questions. Being Un-Breakable means I have awesome energy and can run with my 13 year-old son (literally – he runs track). Unfortunately, the process of maintaining my un-breakable status bugs my health-hater husband. He hates watching me push myself to the next level. Pushing myself can be uncomfortable, but I know what I want. I have 4 kids and I’ll be wearing a bikini this summer. The rewards are awesome!

That is awesome! You see, that is what being Unbreakable means to you. You are Unbreakable because you are doing the right things and taking care of yourself in the right way. Very cool.

Being Unbreakable is a frame of mind, but it is also doing the right things each day to ensure you are going to stay that way.

I didn’t answer yes to any of those questions but at one point I was in severe pain and wearing braces on both knees, while training for my first marathon. That’s how I got back into triathlons with the cross training in swimming and cycling it strenghtened the muscles I needed to keep my knees pain free!

Great story. I am glad that you are “back” to doing what you love to do without restrictions. The key was strengthening your body so you could run again and stay healthy. That is also what being Unbreakable is all about!!

Being “unbreakable” to me is all about my stamina and committment to myself to keep going!

I never thought I would enjoy fitness or that feeling I get when I am at the gym! My spirit is unbreakable and I love what I am doing!

Being “unbreakable” is about mind. Never ever quit. Find a way to get better and get back in the game. My body is not unbreakable but I am unstoppable. I continue to be in the game despite injuries. Not training related but the external kind. Mountain Bike and Skiing crashes that do real injury. Surgery. Recovery. Back in the game

At 43 I play hard and I am getting better. I have never quit so it is easy to keep going. If you never stop building on your foundation you will always support you even later in life.

I am in better shape then I was 5 years ago. Next year I will be in better shape then I am now. Mind and Body.

    That is “Unbreakable”
