Minimalist Training

Everyone is super busy these days. Just ask someone and they will tell you that they just don’t have enough time in the day to do what they want to do and get their training or workouts done. Truth be told, I have had a lot of trouble getting my own training in over the last year. As my business has grown and my training of other people has increased, time for me has gotten much less…to the point that I have missed more workouts than I would like to admit.

When Jason Ferruggia sent me his latest book, Minimalist Training, I was excited. This book is perfect for just about anyone, no matter what your training background is, what your experience level is or what your training goals are at the moment. When I read through the book last night, I was floored on just how simple (and fast) training can be. Jay has workouts for everyone, from beginner to advanced and each workout is simple, fast and extremely effective.

Every workout in the book has just three exercises or less and if you are one of those people who just doesn’t have the time to train or workout for hours, this book might be the one for you. You don’t have to worry about sets, reps, time under tension, and all of that other BS that most programs weigh you down with. In fact, these workouts should take you no more than 30 min and some even less.

Jay has included over three years of training routines in this book, so you don’t have to worry about what to do once your current program comes to an end.

Last year I made some of the best strength gains of my life. From talking back and forth with Jason, he convinced me to cut my training volume way down and my workouts lasted no more than 30 to 40 min, and like I said, I made some of the best gains of my life without the pain and injuries and with a lot of time to spare. Jay has finally put that wisdom into a book that has everything written out for  you.

This book came to me at the right time of my life. I am too busy to worry about doing 60 min workouts. I can’t wait to get the gym today and start using the minimalist training routines.

If you are one of those people who is strapped for time (like most of us seem to be these days) and you are constantly on the lookout for a new, effective and fast routine, I can’t recommend, highly enough Jay’s new Minimalist Training Book. I think you will be surprised at just how effective your training can be with less.

If you want to check out Minimalist Training, check it out here and it will only be on sale until Thanksgiving!
