UNBREAKABLE – From Zero to Hero

“Keith,
Thanks for all of your help this past year! I still can’t believe that I was able to deadlift 415 pounds without any pain in my lower back. I feel awesome now. If you would have told me a year ago that I would be able to do this, I would have thought you were crazy. I couldn’t even lift the bar off of the floor without being in terrible pain. But lucky for me, I bought into what you were doing, followed your program and now the sky is the limit. I can’t believe that I almost listened to those doctors and therapists that told I would never be able to lift weights again and that I should stop!. If I would have, I would have been miserable right now. I love training hard and besides, who wants to live with all of that pain and not be able to do the things that make you happy! Not me! Anyway, I am going to keep doing your programs and keep pushing myself with the weights. I feel better than ever now, and I have put on over 20 pounds of muscle and feel stronger than ever since using your programs. That is a very cool “benefit!”

Ryan went from being “Broken” to be UNBREAKABLE. It is an awesome story, with an awesome ending for Ryan. Here is a guy that was told by doctors and physical therapists that he was not really going to get better and that he would never be able to lift heavy weights again. They actually told him to stop all together.
As Ryan put it “lucky for him” he didn’t listen. There is nothing worse than not being able to do what makes you happy. In Ryan’s case it was training hard with weights. He is now able to do that and he is physically stronger than ever, has no more pain and his back injury is a distant memory.
Ryan’s story is not unique. In fact, there are plenty of people that my UNBREAKABLE system has helped in the same way….helped people get their lives back.
Maybe you are still broken. If so, now is the time to become UNBREAKABLE and get back to doing what you love to do.

What I have learned over the years is most doctors have very little understanding of exercise physiology, and nutrition. Many don’t even exercise themselves. If you want the best advice go to a physical therapist who knows what they are doing, or consult with someone like Keith. Keith knows much more about and exercise than most doctors do.

I’ve been totally inspired by your blog, Keith. I totally agree that doctors will just give you a pill to make the pain go away. I would much rather help myself, than to rely on a quick fix. Our bodies are so resiliant, and to not benefit from it is not an intelligent thing to do. Thank you so much for your inspiration.

WOOT!! good for Ryan. Man, I can’t believe doctors were advising him NOT to lift weights… that’s ridiculous. I think weight training is one of the best ways to take care of yourself there is. I’ve been doing it for years myself (and it makes me NUTS to hear other women saying they don’t want to lift weights cuz they don’t want to get bulky… OMG, WAKE UP). I’m uplifted to hear Ryan’s story and extend my congratulations to him for NOT listening to bad advice and going for it anyway!! Ryan, you rock!

Very interesting blog article Keith. I totally agree I actually worked in a orthopedic office. You would not believe how many times a day you see people walking in with a little bit of pain and the would get a pain pill use when they need it over something little like foot pain. I agree with veronica I would much rather fix it myself if I could than have a quick fix for a few hours. I would rather fix it for a lifetime if it was possible with a little exercise and weight loss. Great work!
