People workout and train their bodies for various reasons. Some want to burn fat, or lose weight. Others want to gain muscle, or sculpt their physique. Some just want cardiovascular health.

What many people tend to miss out on is working their body so they can live pain free while still achieving their goals.

I am still amazed by the amount of people I see each day that have physical problems and pain. I get emails almost daily from people that are looking for solutions to their chronic injuries. While there are too many people out there with these problems to count, not too many people are doing anything to prevent, or avoid these physical issues and problems from ever occurring.

Good trainers and coaches know that part of every single program they write and every single training session they oversee, needs to include preventative or corrective types of exercises. This should be a must.

Unfortunately, many programs and many trainers out there miss this important and essential component and trainees wind up suffering for it in one way or another.

If the goal of your training program is to lose weight, or to gain muscle…one of the biggest ways you won’t achieve that goal is to be sidelined because of pain or injury. I see it all of the time. People are forced to take time off from their training cycles because of a painful condition or injury. This stops progress and usually, the person has to start all over in weeks or months.

If you have chronic pain or a chronic physical problem and you are not doing anything in your fitness program to prevent this or alleviate the problem, then you are the one to blame for your suffering.

Simple exercises done during each training session can do wonders for combating physical conditions and pain. Sometimes it’s a matter of completing a 10 min corrective exercise program. Other times you might need more depending on your problem. However, it is important to remember this: If you are suffering and cannot workout or train the way you want because of your pain or physical problem, then it is up to you to do whatever you need to do to solve this problem and to do it now. If not, I can almost guarantee that it will get worse and you will not get where you want to go.

There is one problem with this however; many people do not know what to do for their problems. This is the main reason I created UNBREAKABLE. When evaluating your fitness program or training regiment, ask the important question of whether it addresses living and training pain free, physically healthy. If it doesn’t, its time to reevaluate what you are doing.
